Batteries feed auxiliary power systems and emergency lighting systems in conventional or new generation train sets. Therefore, constant monitoring of the batteries at periodic maintenance is required. Also, as the battery is located under the vehicle, it must be protected against physical impact that may come from the external environment.
For this, battery boxes we have made provide easy maintenance and high protection. With the design of the battery box that we have done, the battery can be removed without disconnecting and checks can be made during maintenance. As the outer body is made from stainless material, it shows high resistance to the physical impacts coming from the external environment and corrosive effects of air.
